Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Conceptualize new product to a definitive level for engineering interface to lead concept development for in-house initiatives, external design or specialist consultants. • Perform and/or coordinate with project team all new product development activities evaluation of new materials and processes including stress, concept, visual and functional prototype, design reliability and standards compliance testing, evaluation of form, fit and function and FMEA. • Interface with Product Engineer for BOM development and preparation of engineering drawings and documentation. • Work with relevant team about preliminary costing, new materials and technologies for new products.
Qualifications:
• Diploma degree or above with 3-5 years’ experience working in furniture/product design/development. • Furniture Design/ Product Design background is requested, however candidates with other relevant experience will be considered. • Strong SolidWorks (Or similar) skills are essential, experience using Illustrator and AutoCAD is also a plus. Costing experience is a plus, but not required. • Good command of English & Mandarin. • Highly organized, self-motivated, independent, team player, must be able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Responsible for Stellar Works Southeast Asia sales development strategy to align with strategic focus on retail business model establishment in target cities and segments. • Deeply understand the target market, including hotel furnishing selling channels, dealer profiles and capabilities. Strong competence to identify high-growth potential dealers or direct clients based on company strategic direction. • Good product sense to review and categorize current Stellar Works standard collections based on interior space needs and commercial selling values to dealers and channel partners. • Design and development of cross-brand collaboration opportunities including bedding/kitchen & bath/wall paper and relevant industries.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above, business related major is preferred. • More than 5 years working experiences in hotel furnishing industry and especially in high-end furniture channel development and sales management. • Solid professional background in home decor industry background is preferred, ideally has rich and sound customer resources of dealers, direct clients, and interior designers. • Good communication skills, fluently use Microsoft. • Passion for work, pursuit of excellence, strong motivation and ability to motivate people around. • Culturally savvy and adapt to a dynamic and diverse working.
