Located inside a former University in the Dutch capital originally built in 1908, Pillow Hotels’ new luxe property - Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park pays homage to its history, while offering a new elevated sense of modern elegance within a monumental building.

The architecture is by local firm Office Winhov, with interiors styled by Studio Linse. The 88-room hotel was conceived as a cosmopolitan meeting place for tourists and locals alike. Dutch sophistication and a touch of Parisian elegance are juxtaposed in the interior, complemented by a warm and earthy color palette for a comfortable ambiance.

The serene, airy rooms and suites blend contemporary design with hotel comfort. The Bund Lounge Chair designed by Neri&Hu for Stellar Works sits comfortably in the space and the inclined backrest offers a relaxed intimacy which invites guests to completely unwind following a lively day exploring Amsterdam.

With its versatility and understated aesthetic, the Rén Lounge Chair also fits seamlessly in various parts of the hotel, whether it be a conference room or a lounge. Designed by Space Copenhagen, the Rén collection strikes a harmonious balance between form and function, creating a subtle richness in its minimal yet meticulous detailing.

The Fitz’s Bar, located in the Pillows Hotel Mautrits building, features warm tones pared with dark wood elements that work to create an intimate setting. The Blink Bar Stool SH750, designed by Yabu Pushelberg is strategically placed at the bar with a sculptural yet playful personality reminiscent of the roaring 20’s.
