RÉN COLLECTION IN A NEW SOAP FINISHED WALNUT VERSION

Stellar Works is delighted to showcase a new soap finished walnut version of Space Copenhagen’s Rén collection. Using soap as a finish on furniture is a traditional Danish treatment and produces a low-sheen finish that enhances the organic and earthy beauty of the wood.

Space Copenhagen took the Nordic minimalist philosophy, and incorporated craft techniques with subtle detailing from the design traditions of Japan and China, resulting in a collection that embodies high quality and thoughtfully crafted design.

The Rén collection is a series of chairs and tables with simple yet elegant shapes and refined details. It responds to Space Copenhagen’s desire to create a series of pieces in the Danish Modern tradition, balancing form with functionality. The new soap finished walnut pieces add a more muted aesthetic to the collection, making it perfect for both residential and commercial interiors.
