Designed by Jaime Beriestain, the Impar Restaurant is a modern interpretation of the traditional bistro, challenging our conventional notions of the Mediterranean Sea with innovative fusion cuisine and a dynamic dining experience. The owners sought out leading designers and furniture companies to furnish the space, with all seating from Stellar Works. “I really identify with this brand, because they have managed to update classic designs without losing sight of their true essence,” Beriestain explains. Inspired by the owners’ idea to create various eating stations throughout the space, Beriestain has created multiple ambiences, each with its own distinct identity. The custom-made tiling-—with abstract designs in shades of blue—evokes the sea, while the use of hammered glass references the movement of the waves. The Rén Dining Armchairs, designed by Space Copenhagen, elegantly complements the modern space.

Using large windows to create a light-filled space, Bernstein captures the cosmopolitan essence of the restaurant. Encapsulating the best combination of sleek modernity and traditional craft, the project is perfectly aligned with the Rén Collection and the Stellar Works philosophy.
