EDARDIAN HOTELS OPENS ITS LUXURY URBAN RESORT THE LONDONER HOTEL
The Londoner Hotel designed by New York and Toronto based Yabu Pushelberg was one of the most hotly anticipated hotel openings of 2021. Yabu Pushelberg’s luxury aesthetic brings together a curated collection of intimate spaces with a focus on top quality materials.
Stylistically focused on a traditional British sensibility and with a minimal neutral palette, guestrooms at The Londoner feature floor-to-ceiling windows, rich detailing and modern technology. The hotel’s boutique approach aims to make guests feel at home, but the Londoner also features several concepts open to the public that honour and re-shape the legacy of Leicester Square.
Throughout the hotel Yabu Pushelberg have used their Blink stools designed for Stellar Works and these can be seen in the guestrooms and public areas of the hotel, while Blink lounge chairs feature in the hotel’s signature restaurant.
As a newbuild hotel, Yabu Pushelberg’s greatest challenge was to engage visitors and create a guest experience throughout all of the hotel spaces that celebrate the hotel’s West End location. “The Londoner is designed to play into the roots of Leicester Square as London’s historic theatre district,” says George Yabu.
