SW THREE-SEATER SOFA BY OEO STUDIO'S LATEST INTERIORS PROJECT

OEO Studio has designed the interiors of Casa Mutina Modena, a series of residences in a five-story townhouse for Italian ceramic tile manufacturer Mutina. The building is set in the charming and historic area of Modena, amongst the colourful houses and narrow alleyways the town is so famous for, and just minutes away from the city’s cathedral and the iconic Academy of Modena – formerly Palazzo Ducale.

For the design of the sofa, OEO Studio drew from the early 20th-century Bauhaus movement. Created using solid walnut or ash, and upholstered in leather or fabric, the SW Three-Seater sofa has been designed to bring clean-lined refinement to both homes and hospitality settings, demonstrating a purity of style through detail-focused craftsmanship, a soft, warming colour palette and high-quality materials.

Casa Mutina Modena was awarded the 'Best Design Concept' category of the Monocle Design Awards 2021.
